1) CAN I LIVE WITH MY FRIENDS?
Yes, we see friendships as integral to Lojj homes. All of our homes are for groups of friends looking to live together.
2) IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO LIVING AT A LOJJ HOME?
You need to be at least 18.
3) WILL THERE BE AN INVENTORY CHECK?
The inventory check will be carried out on the day that you get possession of your room/home. This inventory will be used at the exit to make sure that the house is in the same state of repair, given allowance for a year’s wear and tear.
4) ARE BILLS INCLUDED?
Yes they are. We want to take away as much as the hassle as possible so you don’t need to stress! We include WiFi, electricity, gas and hot water. You will need to pay for your own TV license.
5) DO I HAVE TO PAY COUNCIL TAX?
Great news – students do not have to pay council tax in the UK. Luckily we are able to sort this out for you so you don’t need to worry.
6) CAN I KEEP PETS IN MY ROOM OR HOME?
As much as we love animals, especially the cute and cuddly ones, we can’t let you keep pets with you – sorry!
7) WHAT DO I DO IF SOMETHING IN MY ROOM OR HOME STOPS WORKING OR BREAKS?
We have an office hours property maintenance service (available Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) who can come down and assess any maintenance service that you bring to our attention. The sooner you let us know there’s an issue, the better!
8) WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED HELP OUT-OF-HOURS?
We understand that sometimes you might need help in the evening or at weekends. We provide you with emergency contact numbers for a plumber, an electrician and a locksmith who can come to the rescue if needed.
