*** Our Booking Pledge for 2020/21.
DIGS remain open and excited to welcome students to our accommodations for the 2020/21 academic year. We understand that you may be hesitant to book your accommodation in these unprecedented times so we have introduced a new booking pledge to alleviate some of the stress and offer you the confidence that you need when making decisions about your future. If you choose to live with us from September 2020/21 you will not need to pay anything until August and you can be assured that you’re protected even if:
Course delayed – your course start date is delayed then we will adjust your contract start date
Course cancelled – your course is cancelled then we will cancel your booking at your request
Travel Restrictions – Government travel restrictions in the UK or your home country prevent you from travelling to the UK. Depending on circumstances we will either delay your contract start date or cancel your booking
Each of the scenarios above will be subject to the relevant proof within the allocated timeframe. For further information on this policy please see our T&Cs. If you wish to cancel your accommodation for any other reason, then you will be subject to our standard cancellation policy.
We hope that this offers some certainty in these uncertain times. Please can we ask that you share this update with your teams and pass the details of the Booking Pledge onto any students who request information about DIGS.
